A Renter’s First Power Tool

Most renters don’t have much storage and workspace at their disposal (and if they did most would turn it into a closet) so power tools are not high on a list of things to have. But, if you want to start a small tool collection one thing that is a must-buy is a battery operated screwdriver.
From installing curtain rods to de-baby proofing a kitchen (a recent experience of mine) this small yet powerful tool saves you countless minutes of struggling to get stuck-in screws out, and also easily letting you drill screws into walls with minimal effort.
I just picked up Black & Decker’s Lithium Screwdriver with CompactFit Technology. For just $29.99 at Home Depot which is a decent price for something I know I will many, many times.
What other tools are a must-have for renters?
